Grant Larson Studios’ camera department workshops are designed to help build a basic knowledge for camera assistants, operators and even aspiring directors of photography working with the latest digital cinema technology. This workshop covers the building and using of digital cinema cameras and accessories such as ALEXA, Red and Blackmagic cameras. By the end of the two days, attendees will have gained a comprehensive knowledge of these digital cinema cameras and the confidence to operate the cameras in a variety of production scenarios.
The course will be taught by Jeff Peters and Ryan Guzdzial.
Jeff Peters is an LA-based cinematographer, who graduated from San Diego State as well as Full Sail University. Jeff has also participated in the teaching program at Full Sail. He shoots around the world and throughout the US and has logged over 70 film and television projects in the past 9 years.
Ryan Guzdzial started his career in film almost a decade ago after discovering a passion for the camera department. Ryan moved up the ranks quickly, from film loader to a first assistant camera position role. He has amassed an extraordinary credit list of studio features, agency commercials, and independent content. Ryan is proficient in both the film and digital mediums and has become the first choice for many award-winning Cinematographers. He has been a member of IATSE Local 600 for several years.
